I am writing to let you know how thrilled I am with your Retirement Blend and the difference it has made to my 33 year old Appaloosa gelding Charlie.
Over the past few years, Charlie’s arthritis has become more severe, and I was relying on injections and painkillers to keep him comfortable on his occasional ‘bad days’. He was still alert and happy but I was beginning to wonder how he would cope coming into another winter.
Shortly before commencing Charlie on his herbs, he became listless, rapidly lost weight and was noticeably more stiff and uncomfortable. He no longer came straight up to his feed bin, and began to leave his feed behind (a first for him). Having had success with natural therapies myself (and having tried just about everything else!) The day the Retirement Blend arrived, I put a handful of the herbs in his feed bucket, and to my suprise was almost bowled over as Charlie dug straight in (he’s a very fussy eater). I was prepared to give it a month to see results, however after only 6 days, he was visibly ‘brighter’ and on day 7, he met me with his familiar whuffle and stood impatiently at his feed bin.
By the end of the his first month on Retirement Blend, he was back to his cheeky self and his freedom of movement had improved greatly. He is now, once again, the first in the stables to wait for his meals and licks his feed bin clean everytime. He even managed a canter around his paddock the other day, which is something that I hadn’t seen for months.
I am so grateful to Country Park Animal Herbs for giving me my best friend back, and making his retirement years more comfortable.
